‘Practical Completion’

This week was a special milestone for the project, with the architect issuing a practical completion certificate to the main contractor. This is essentially confirming that the work has been completed, with the exception of the snagging list. This was issued on the 22nd December, in line with the contract end date signed with the builders CHAP Group. In advance of this a big clear up operation has taken place on site, with some photos below. Snagging works will continue throughout January alongside the final Audio Visual commissioning and some fit out joinery work by SIR Joinery. On the same day the practical completion certificate was issued, our new lectern for the main hall arrived and was set in place on the platform (shown below)..
